About us
Pamoja Art Festival - Faith&Hope, inviting students worldwide to Kenya to make a difference. This event offers underprivileged children the chance to engage with art, inspiring hope and creativity.
Pamoja Art Festival - Faith & Hope is an annual art festival project that aims to support children in orphanages in Nairobi, Kenya through the power of art. The project successfully held its first session in July 2024. In the future, it will continue to be held every summer vacation to attract volunteers from all over the world.

July 29: Travel to Maasai Mara
July 30-31: Maasai Mara Safari Experience
August 1: Maasai Mara Safari Continued
August 2: Return to Nairobi

• Morning/Afternoon: Participants arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Festival organizers will provide airport pickup services.
• Evening: Check-in at the designated hotel in Nairobi, allowing participants to rest and refresh after their journey.
• Dinner: Enjoy a welcome dinner at a renowned local restaurant, featuring traditional Kenyan cuisine to introduce participants to the country’s rich culinary culture.
• Daily Schedule:

8:30 AM - 9:30 AM: Icebreaker activities to build rapport among participants and the children at the rehabilitation center. Activities may include group games, cultural exchange presentations, and team-building exercises.

9:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Thematic workshops tailored to the festival's art and hope themes. Workshops will cover disciplines such as dance, music, drama, and crafts, allowing children to express themselves creatively.

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch break (meals provided at the center, featuring a mix of local and international options).

1:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Continuation of workshops, with a focus on collaborative projects, such as creating a group mural or preparing for the festival performance.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Reflection and feedback sessions to gather insights from participants and organizers.
• Evening: Free time for participants to explore Nairobi or relax at the hotel.
• 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM: Full-day rehearsals at the Heritage of Faith and Hope Centre.

Participants and children finalize performances, including staging, and timing.

Directors provide guidance to ensure that all performances are cohesive and impactful.

• Evening: Participants return to the hotel to rest and prepare for the big event the next day.

3:00 PM-5:00 PM: Clean suit, get ready to go to Safari

• 8:00 AM: Depart from Nairobi by road to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey offers stunning views of the Kenyan countryside.
• Afternoon: Arrival at the Maasai Mara. Participants visit a Maasai village to learn about the tribe’s culture, traditions, and daily life.
• Evening: Check-in at a safari lodge and enjoy dinner under the stars.
• Full Days: Explore the Maasai Mara National Reserve with expert guides.

Morning and afternoon game drives to observe Kenya’s iconic wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and cheetahs.

Lunch will be served at the lodge or picnic-style in the reserve.

Opportunities for birdwatching and photography will be available.
• Evenings: Relax at the safari lodge, enjoying traditional Maasai storytelling and cultural performances.
• Full Day: Continue the wildlife safari experience with extended game drives and visits to scenic locations within the reserve.

Special focus on the Great Migration if it coincides with the festival dates.
• Evening: Farewell dinner at the lodge to celebrate the end of the Maasai Mara adventure.
• Morning: Depart from Maasai Mara and travel back to Nairobi.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Nairobi and spend free time shopping for souvenirs.
• Evening: Final night in Nairobi with a relaxed dinner at the hotel.
• Morning: Check-out from the hotel and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for departure.
• Festival organizers will ensure smooth airport transfers and assistance with any last-minute needs.
